How it all started...
Our story began in 1961, when Rialto First Assembly opened its doors with a heart to serve God and the local community. Over the decades, faithful and passionate pastors have led this church, each building on a legacy of love, service, and devotion to Jesus.
In a beautiful turn of God’s plan, our most recent chapter began in February 2024, when Rialto First and Remedy Church of Rancho Cucamonga became one. Rialto First was prayerfully seeking a pastor, and Remedy—led by Pastor Tom McMahon—was in search of a permanent home. God brought two churches together at just the right time.
That first united service marked more than a merger—it was the beginning of something only God could orchestrate. Since then, we’ve continued forward as Rialto First, committed to serving our city and reaching people with the hope and love of Jesus.
Our story is still being written—and we’re excited for what’s ahead.

While our roots go back to 1961, we believe the best is still ahead. Since uniting as one church in 2024, God has been writing a powerful new chapter for Rialto First—and we’re just getting started.
We’re committed to growing a thriving, Christ-centered community that reaches beyond our walls. From making ongoing improvements to our building, to launching more community outreaches, to building a strong and life-giving children’s ministry, everything we do is centered on pointing people to Jesus.
Our heart is to see lives transformed, families restored, and generations raised up to follow Jesus. As we grow, we dream of expanding our impact, creating more space for people to find hope, healing, and purpose.
