Our Values
The following are the core beliefs of Rialto First Assembly of God based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
Jesus
The Gospel of Jesus will always be first in our lives and in our message. We refuse to let the message of the Gospel be changed or diminished in its importance. The greatest mission of our church is to declare the Gospel to everyone, wherever God calls us. Jesus is our Priority
People
People matter to God and therefore matter to us. Every single person that walks through our doors is someone that Jesus died to rescue. We value compassion for people over systems and programs. Our focus is guiding a person to grow from a new believer into spiritual maturity through discipleship. People are our purpose
Generosity
We are spiritual contributors not just consumers. Our response to God’s endless grace is a life of boundless generosity. We choose to be generous with our time, energy and finances. The church does not exist only for us, we are the church, and we exist for the world. Generosity is our privilege.
Serving
Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve. So should we. We elevate our calling over our gifting. We believe that if you are too big to serve, you are too small to lead. We get to lead because we choose to serve. Serving is our honor
Community
Building a community in a healthy church family has been God’s design from the beginning. We believe that the family is a divine institution that is worthy of our time, effort and sacrifice. We can accomplish significantly more together than apart. Community is our passion.
Humility
Honoring others honors God. We will look for every opportunity to honor people with our words and our actions. We will humbly give honor to those God has placed over us, beside us, and under our care and leadership. When we are humble we mimic our savior who was the greatest in the Kingdom of God. Humility is our posture.
Excellence
We will always bring our very best. Excellence honors God and inspires people. Our presentation should be made with excellence.
